Time Zone Converter
Set a time in one place, see it everywhere. Daylight saving handled automatically.
| Zone | Time at the chosen moment | Typical office hours? |
|---|
Shaded hours fall within 08:00-18:00 local working time — read down a column to find a moment that suits everyone.
How it works
The converter uses the official IANA time zone database built into your browser (the same source your operating system uses), so daylight saving transitions, historical rule changes and the world’s odd half-hour zones (India at +5:30, Nepal at +5:45) are all handled exactly. You pick a wall-clock time in one zone and it resolves to a single absolute instant in time, then displays that instant wherever you ask.
FAQ
My city isn’t in the list. What do I pick?
The list uses official zone names like Europe/London, which usually cover whole countries or regions. Pick the nearest major city in your time zone; the list is regional, not per-city, so results are identical for everywhere sharing the zone.
What happens across daylight saving changes?
The conversion is always exact for the date you chose: a 9:00 meeting on one side of a DST switch can land on 10:00 the other side, and this tool shows you the real clock time for that specific date. That’s why scheduling across the switch surprises people. Check the date you actually meet, not next week’s date.
Why does the same difference not apply all year?
Not every country changes its clocks on the same day (the US and Europe differ by weeks), and some don’t change at all. The gap between two zones can be one hour in summer and two in winter. This converter always computes the real gap for the exact moment you enter.
