Crop Image

Aspect ratios, exact positioning, and circle crops for profile pictures — all offline.

Choose an image to start cropping.

How it works

Pick a shape, then use the sliders to frame the exact region you want — the preview updates live. Square crops are the standard for profile pictures across social platforms, 16:9 suits video thumbnails and desktop wallpapers, and circle crops produce a PNG with genuinely transparent corners (choose PNG when saving a circle; JPEG has no transparency and fills the corners white). Everything is processed on your device.

FAQ

How do I make a circular profile picture?

Choose “Circle”, load your photo, adjust the position sliders until the face is centred, then download as PNG. The corners are truly transparent, so the image sits cleanly on any background — avatars, team pages and Discord work all the same.

Why is “free” crop done with edge sliders instead of dragging?

Sliders give precise, repeatable results on touch screens and with keyboards alike — no fiddly handles. Drag the left/right/top/bottom sliders in and the preview shows exactly what will remain. It’s also faster for the most common crop: trimming a border off a screenshot.
